City Council to meet Friday morning to address COVID-19 response

Kerrville’s City Council has a special meeting scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 10:00 AM in council chambers at City Hall. The only item on the agenda is a briefing and possible action regarding the city’s response to coronavirus.

During this meeting, we expect council to discuss and potentially make an official decision regarding the May 2 citywide election. Governor Gregg Abbott issued guidance this week asking municipalities to postpone their elections until the November general election.

Friday’s council meeting will be broadcast online, and to abide by the CDC recommendations, we encourage residents to view this meeting online rather than in person. Visit the link below to view the city’s live stream on Friday morning.
