City Council appointed EA Hoppe to serve as City Manager in the wake of the resignation of Mark McDaniel, who served in that capacity for the past four years. Hoppe will transition into the new role on June 1.
Garcia is only “no” vote
In one of his very first votes in his very first meeting as a city councilperson, Roman Garcia cast the only dissenting vote against Hoppe, while Clarkson, Blackburn, Eychner, and Hughes voted in favor — a 4-1 vote.
