About This Site

Kerrville United is made up of a small group of volunteers interested in promoting responsible government by creating content to inform the electorate and the community about the issues facing our community. Our content includes written articles, podcasts, live broadcasts, and short videos. All of the content seen here is created by volunteers.

The content of this website should be viewed much like a newspaper’s content. While many articles are simply factual in nature and meant to inform the viewer, other articles add commentary and are based on the informed opinion of the respective author and/or Kerrville United.

We encourage our readers and viewers to get their information from a wide variety of sources — not just this one. We believe in examining multiple sources, perspectives, opinions, and then formulating your own opinion based on the evidence and viewpoints you’ve heard.

“An educated citizenry is a vital requisite for our survival as a free people.” –Thomas Jefferson

In addition to providing information, Kerrville United actively campaigns to increase voter turnout, assist public servants that want to improve our community, and challenge the leaders and authorities that govern.

We are in the process of seeking volunteers to help with these objectives, and we are also actively seeking to expand our communications database. Please consider subscribing to our email newsletter that will keep you up to date on current local issues and topics!

Kerrville United was founded in 2016 by Aaron Yates, and he is the publisher and editor of this website, with input and resources from a generous group of volunteers from around the city. Kerrville United’s content is free to view and share. No subscription is required.
