Wintry weather affecting local events and activities


Update as of 9:30 AM – According to TxDOT’s map (below), basically every road in Kerrville has icy conditions. Be safe!

A wintry mix of precipitation and a blast of cold air has altered the daily routines of thousands of hill country residents this Tuesday morning. All area schools have canceled classes for Tuesday, including KISD, Harper, Fredericksburg, Ingram, and Center Point.

Schreiner University has canceled all classes and events for Tuesday.

In addition, the ribbon cutting for the brand new Sports Complex has been moved to Wednesday at 2:00 PM — it had been scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday morning.

The Kerrville City Hall has delayed its opening until 10 AM on Tuesday morning. Offices were also closed on Monday for MLK Day.

There will be no trash pickup today!

The Kerrville Kroc Center and Boys and Girls Club will be closed on Tuesday.

All Club Ed classes have been cancelled for today.

Kerr Arts & Cultural Center will be closed Tuesday.
