A wintry mix of precipitation and a blast of cold air has altered the daily routines of thousands of hill country residents this Tuesday morning. All area schools have canceled classes for Tuesday, including KISD, Harper, Fredericksburg, Ingram, and Center Point.
KISD has cancelled school for tomorrow. All extra-curricular activities are cancelled as well.

Schreiner University has canceled all classes and events for Tuesday.
All classes & events scheduled for tomorrow Tue, Jan 16 have been canceled due to predicted icy conditions. Students who haven’t returned for the Spring semester shouldn’t attempt to travel tomorrow. In addition, the ribbon cutting for the brand new Sports Complex has been moved to Wednesday at 2:00 PM — it had been scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday morning.
The Kerrville City Hall has delayed its opening until 10 AM on Tuesday morning. Offices were also closed on Monday for MLK Day.
There will be no trash pickup today!
The Kerrville Kroc Center and Boys and Girls Club will be closed on Tuesday.
The @kerrvillekroc will be closed tomorrow. This includes the Boys and Girls Club After School Program.
